S and W used to make the best, but this pistol has disappointed me..It is very hard to rack, and I know thats due to the short barrel and stroke, but seems to be more than needed..The safety switch does not stick out enough for easy operation.. The feedramp was ugly..I had to polish it a lot to get it smooth..The takedown procedure is not user friendly, nor is reassembly..The trigger action did become quite smooth after hundreds of dry operation..As many have noted, the grip texture is very rough and hurts my hand...It is difficult to slide ammo into the magazine and I will be polishing the lips to make it better..You do it a full grip when using the 8 round mag, but not the 7 rounder..Overall, if I had it to do do over again, I would have bought something else for concealed carry..

I am very happy with my recent purchase, The S&W M&P Shield 2.0. It came new in the box in pristine condition, and was the exact match of the product listed on the website. As of this review I have only had time to put around 200 rounds rounds down range, but so far it works great with no problems or malfunctions. I was able to easily start customizing it with a new Rear Slide Cover Plate, and take it to a gun smith to put on new TFO sights. I highly recommend this weapon to anyone looking for a reliable EDC, as it is about the size of an average male's hand and extremely light. It came with 2 magazines, a manual, a pistol cable lock with two keys, and an orange chamber flag/stopper. It was a great overall price for an outstanding product that comes with a warranty. Buds Gun Shop offered a great deal with fast and free shipping and a large data base of FFLs located all over the country so it is easy to find one near you. This product is a great choice for anyone, new or veteran gun owners alike, looking for a new conceal carry weapon or a discreet way to protect your family at home.

Yeah, this is a nice little CC weapon. I like the thumb safety myself and it is a nice shooting gun. I'd like to get the 45 in this size, someday. It's just a nice, small and simple choice for a backup or CC. Nice

Hey I bought the S&W M&P 9 Shield 2.0 and I truly like and enjoy shooting this gun. The features that the 2.0 model of this gun is great.
