Weatherby Synthetic 26 300 Winchester Magnum Bolt Action Rifle - Blue/Black, 26" Barrel, 3 Rounds, Synthetic, Griptonite Stock

This rifle is extremely nice especially for the price. I chose the .300 Winchester over the .300 Weatherby because the Winmag is plenty powerful and the Weatherby components are more expensive and it eats a lot of powder. The stock is very stout for a plastic one, and the style is excellent. It fits very good. It is very accurate as expected. I’m glad it’s not threaded. I am very happy to have bought it. It did have one aggravating feature though, especially being a Weatherby and all... The bolt was just turned on the lathe and popped into the action. There are very ornery grooving marks left in it that make an annoying zipper sound when operated. I polished it down myself. And it still does it but not bad anymore. I won’t take the whole surface down for fear of any casehardening. Leaving the troughs ensures you won’t go into softer metal. Other than that it’s a great gun am I’m so proud to have it. I put Leupold double dovetail rings and a Burris 4.5-14 scope on it. Wonderful. 😎👍 Thanks Buds!

Great gun for the price. I have several weatherby products and all have been high quality. The vanguard model shoots just as accurate as my much more expensive mark v, just not as pretty. The vanguard line from weatherby is slightly more expensive that some of the other budget rifles on the market but you get a lot more for your money with a weatherby in my opinion. Buds is also a great company. Bought many guns from them and always had a good experience

very nice gun just put dnz mounts a leupold vx3i on and shot two rounds got into 6" at 100 yards then rain will dial in next time
