Good quality for the price. Decent groups at 50 yards. The scope and rings are what you would expect for the price. Good enough to learn on, which is why I bought it in the first place.

First off, shipping was fast and communication was excellent. I started an internet search for compact .22 rifles for my 8 y.o. and stumbled upon this sweet little rifle. I read a number of reviews, watched some videos, and visited Keystone’s website. I was impressed that such a rifle existed and was designed specifically for young shooters. Since I already purchased a .22 Henry for my older son, I went with the .22 WMR package. Based on the MSRP, Bud’s had the best price I could find. Admittedly I was a little hesitant having held a small Crickett in the past; I felt like the firing pin and bolt were on the cheap side. Not the case with this particular rifle. The bolt is all metal as is the cocking pin. No plastic. Overall the rifle’s rather heavy and feels substantial. The bipod is descent and the legs fold. The scope seems well made and the glass is quite clear with mil-dot cross hairs. The adjustable cheek piece is a nice touch but the risers are plastic and seem like they could break easily if you’re not careful. As this is a Christmas gift I have not taken it to the range yet and cannot comment on the accuracy. For $300 you get a sweet little gun. I’m looking forward to shooting it too!
