Steyr Arms Zephyr II 22 Long Rifle Bolt Action Rifle - 5 Rounds, 19.7" Barrel, European Walnut Stock, Wood, Blue/Black

Rifle arrived about two weeks after I ordered it. This Steyr Zephyr II is a VERY ACCURATE, VERY WELL BALANCED and A BEAUTIFUL, WELL CONSTRUCTED RIFLE..
The barrel was free floated from the factory and the trigger pull was set right at 2 pounds! This is a 2 stage trigger, with the first stage hitting a complete stop as you squeeze off a shot and then the second stage breaks beautifully. This Steyr factory trigger is equal to very high dollar Anschutz target triggers that I have owned. I mounted a Leupold 3-20x40 mm target knob scope on this rifle. I shot 50 yard groups into the 2's and 3's with Eley Target, Eley Match and with Lapua Center-X ammunition. This rifle will be used for small bore metallic silhouette competition this year. It holds steady off hand. I am looking forward to the silhouette matches this year. D.W.

Steyr Zephyr II is a quality firearm. This is my second one already. It is really difficult to find a high end .22lr for this kind of money. I have been a collector and active shooter for a LONG time and this rifle is as good as it gets for quality and accuracy. The only thing I don't like is not being able to see the actual firearm I will be receiving and that keeps me from buying more from Bud's.
