Love it. Great customer service and fast shipping from Bud’s.

One of the coolest little guns I own. I keep it folded, loaded mag inserted, bolt retracted in a nightstand drawer. Unfold, slap the bolt handle and you're ready to go. Love it

Great little 9mm carbine, no malfunctions with roughly 200 rounds of mostly cheap FMJ ammo through it. Only significant problem I've noticed is the 27 round magpul magazines I bought separately will overshoot the mag catch if inserted too firmly, making them very difficult to remove, but I'm not sure if this is an issue with the rifle itself or the magazines. Also, the trigger guard/release for the folding mechanism, and the trigger itself is made of polymer that flexes just enough to be noticeable. I don't think it will ever be an issue, but the aftermarket aluminum replacments for those parts are tempting. Overall, I have no regrets. It works as advertised, is lightweight, folds into a very compact package for transport and storage, takes glock mags (with models available compatible with several other handgun mags) and is much cheaper the most other 9mm carbines on the market.

Haven’t shot the SUB2000 gen2 as yet...I have field stripped it...need to be sure you have racked the bolt...the bolt does does not slide easily back in...best to line it up properly then javelin it in...the trigger will get to feel better as you dry fire it many times over...may actually breaking to an ok trigger...no way near as an AR milspec trigger..

Very cool little carbine. A little snappier than I thought it would be. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because without an optic it’s very hard to use the iron sights. You have to have your head almost completely sideways and smash your cheek into the back of the rifle. The blue is much darker than it looks in the pic so if it’s the only color you can find that takes glock mags, go for it.

I bought 2 of these sub 2000s and I love the gun. It fires flawlessly and was dead on out of the box. It was exactly what I was expecting. Shipping was a little slow but they are straight forward about that up front. Would definitely buy again. Buds is great to work with.

Nice gun for the money. Blue make it sharp looking. good for a collection.

The Blue I ordered is really navy blue. Sharp looking piece. Other topics are similar to others. The charging handle is painful. Needed the MCarbo mod. I got the two finger and slipped a Tygon tube sleeve on it and now is no problem. The Keltec butt plate is also a foolish thing. My solution was a rubber AK47 Butt Pad from UTG. Butt Pad is made in chinka but after some Dremel mod on the Keltec butt plat as well as knife work on the UTG Pad it works really well. After the mods on the butt plat/pad I put some shoe Goo to keep it in place. Works fine. (A note about mods, a little is a lot - Measure, take a little here or there and test fit, then repeat and repeat and repeat). I agree with other reviews on the trigger pull. I'm gonna go for the MCarbo fix when I can afford it, however, after about 100 rounds of 115 metal jackets, I had forgot about the trigger pull. I got used to it but I can see it making a difference in competition. I'm used to open sights so the stock Keltec fore and aft setup is not as bothersome as most other reviews. To each his own. I did put on the MCarbo muzzle brake and between that and the butt plate, the kick is nominal and comfortable for my first 100 rounds. The Sub-2000 is a rather light weapon and the 9mm's do kick and there could be damage after a couple hundred rounds. Love it though. I did a lot of review on this weapon before I purchased it and went with the Glock 17. I would do it again. Buds had the best price who was recommended by my FFL guy. Alway's listen to your FFL guy.

Out of the box I did not have to adjust the sights. It ran multiple types of 115gr 9mm ammo including steel case. It functioned without any failures using factory Glock magazines and the magazine it came with. I also shot PCC division at a local USPSA match and it was flawless. It shoots very nice groups at 25 yards. I really like this firearm.

Fun little carbine and has been completely reliable so far. It is very light weight and therefore recoils more abruptly than one might expect. I shot it side by side with a Ruger PC carbine and the Ruger was significantly more pleasurable to shoot. That said, the SUB-2000 is great for its intended purpose and still quite fun. The navy blue is darker than it appears in the picture, a real navy blue.
