Are the model2 magazine "sleeves" compatible with the original xd?

Mike, yes - the MOD2 uses the same magazines as the original XD and the only real difference in the sleeves is the external styling/appearance, the fit should not have changed

Yes the mags and sleeves are interchangeable the sleeves have a different texture but will work just fine
