Great Light weight plinker. I was in the market for a Ruger 10/22 backpacker, well those are impossible to find. I saw some TS versions out there and saw the bump in quality. Twice the price quality? Unsure. All I can say is it shoot like a dream. Dead accurate once you figure out the fiber optics (I have tight target steel irons on my 1960 Browning takedown with a tighter resolution). Simple to clean and disassemble. Vanity - it's a gorgeous gun. So well done. The craftsmanship is top notch. Now is it worth twice the price of a Ruger.... I'd buy it again without hesitation. Now Bud's.... Wow! So simple. The rifle was at my. FFL in 3 days. Can't beat that! Definitely will look to buy from Bud's again!

I never had the priviledge to handle a tacsol product before my purchase, so I bought this gun strictly based on reviews I read on the internet. Everything I read about the gun was positive, enough so to lead me to spend double what a base 10/22 would cost, so I had very high hopes when the gun came into my local dealer. My expectations were exceeded in almost every way. The most impactful thing about this rifle, that I did not appreciate from reviews is just how light this gun is once I was able to handle it. The gun was so light that I actually changed my choice in optics, from a 21oz Athlon product on a one-piece mount to a 9oz Leupold product on lightweight rings. I honestly cant say anything negative about this rifle, the fit and finish are flawless, the trigger weight and overall feel is perfect for a field gun and the fiberoptic sights were right on out of the box. The return to zero after takedown was spot on every time, once I properly adjusted the tension nut for the barrel.

Ordered it on a Monday and picked it up at LGS on Friday. Rifle shoots great...feels good. The windage adjustment is a little rinky dink but it works. The fiber optics sights allow me to shoot without a red dot.....I wear trifocals... just align the three fuzzy green dots and let 'er rip. This is my first 10/22 so I was not affected by the longer mag release....not being used to the shorter release. I like the long release lever and I really like being able to put the bolt handle on the left side. I'm pleased with the purchase.
