Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite Black/Green Anodized 22 Long Rifle Pistol - Green, 4.4" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips, 3-Dot Sights

I learned to shoot as a young boy with my Dad & a Ruger 22 LR... most of us were introduced to this hobby in such a manner. I have the green model & bought it to replace the 1st MKIV in orange that I had already. It's break down is SOOO much simpler than it once was. It is my "Choice" for target & when ammo costs what it does these days, it's the best way to continue to enjoy this hobby & tradition

I purchased this gun because I wanted something for target shooting it is a fun gun to shoot , I like the color, I mounted a red dot sight which was easy to mount and break down of the pistol is easy for cleaning .

I am a 30+yr gun collector. I love the Rugers Mk series I own every Mk pistol to date. For the Ruger Lite I collected every color I buy on extra of all Mk series to shoot the rest I just collect I also buy doubles or triples of the same model to mod with Pac Lite uppers etc. The Ruger mk series speaks for itself the are some of the most accurate and reliable non match type .22LR Pistols in history. The Lite series is no exception. It eats any ammo I feed it from lite to heavy grained bullets, HP's, HVHP, subsonics and coated or non coated bullets. The pistol is also very accurate, points nicely and feels perfect in the hand especially with 22/45 grip. This and or all Mk's are great suppressor hosts (I only use threaded ones) with my ACC, Dead Air, Griffen and other .22 and 5.56 cans, the gun is so quiet all you hear is the action moving. I use mostly Trijicon RMR's on most if not all my hand guns along with some T1 or T2 micro's. But even with irons the gun is very accurate. Also magazines are inexpensive and plentiful. The takedown on the MKIV is the biggest change for earlier models. Its simply a one button push, the upper hinges off and the bolt slides out. Much easier than the MKIII etc. I highly recommend this legendary handgun. You won't be sorry! Stay safe all!

My first .22 caliber pistol and I couldn't be happier. I wanted a race style gun that was cheap to shoot. Meaning I bought it and put Tandemkross furniture on it as far as the Hive grip, Compensator, and the Halo charge ring. It was super accurate. I tried 4 different types of .22 LR the first time I shot it and I had one stove pipe and one failure to fire from the same Winchester super x ammo. I've found that Winchester ammo on the cheaper side is just not good even with shotguns. But I shot remington thunderbolt, aguila, and the base winchester super x at 2 different velocities, and the lower velocity was the problem. The thunderbolt and the aguila worked best that day. Either way if you buy decent ammo and want a great plinker that can be easily modified then this pistol is for you. Love this gun!

Love the 22/45 and the Mark IV brings it all together! I had a Mark III prior to this but, as with everyone else the single button take down was the selling point. Plus, OD Green! I couldn't be happier.
