12/23, just picked this up and shot it at the range. Its lighter than my 686. The sights are much better than the S and W. My 686 is 10 years old and the groves in the cylinder for rotating are worn out. It cost about the same as my 686 10 years ago. I put 21 rounds through it and just had to go left on the sights a little. 15 yards and 4" group. I'll get better. Very nice revolver. Hardly any recoil. I like Tauras revolvers. I have 5 now. They seem to with stand any ammo you put in. You get use to the 2 tone, I like straight up stainless. The black sights are a little hard to look through. May have to get an optic. Other than that, its a very solid revolver.

I am a fan of deer hunting with a pistol. I have been using a 44 Mag for many years and decided it was time for something different. I purchased a Taurus 19 years ago and it has never failed me. I decided to go with the Taurus Raging Hunter in 357 Mag this time around. I added a red dot and hit the range. This revolver lives up to its reputation. I sighted in at 25 yards achieving a one ragged hole group with Hornady 158 Grain XTP. I backed it up to 50 (off a rest) and achieved a 1 5/8 group with the same ammo. Due to the weight of the revolver there is absolutely zero recoil.
