Savage Arms Axis XP Matte Black 350 Legend Bolt Action Rifle - Blue/Black, 18" Barrel, 4+1 Rounds, Synthetic, Black Synthetic Stock

We bought this for my son for his birthday. Everything was smooth as always with buds. Make sure you take the time to check all the screws and bolts holding the scope on. We had a few loose ones but no biggie. Also take your time or hire someone to have it properly bore sighted. Bore sighting (checking screws and checking all the alignments and leveling) took about a half hour. Took it out back was 2 clicks low but dead center (100yards)adjusted the scope and nailed a bullseye second shot 150 yards bullseye. 200 bullseye. What more do you need from a hunting rifle? Quality is right what you would expect for a rifle within a budget line of rifles. It is very accurate and so far it seems to hold accuracy.

Savage axis 350 legend. Another nice savage offering and great buds service.

Bought a Savage Axis combo chambered in .350 with a Weaver scope for the Ohio week long firearm season. I shot two deer with it and was very impressed over all with the gun. Very accurate and reliable for a great price. Short barrel works well in brushy areas but the gun is still more than accurate out to 250 yards with the Deer Season XP ammunition. Great buy

After every shot, the back of the mag would pop out, and need to be reseated, until finally, the flimsy tab on the mag broke off. Waiting on a new magazine from the manufacturer, 7 to 10 business days, in the beginning of Deer Season. Feeling Underwhelmed.
