Cimarron 1875 Outlaw Nickel 45 Long Colt Revolver - Stainless/Silver, 7.5" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Wood Grips, 3-Dot Sights

Just bought this revolver a couple of weeks ago. It's my first single action revolver. When I opened the box and looked it over it was flawless. I really do mean flawless. It is a work of art. I'll have to buy a 2nd one in the future just to keep in a nice display box! I took it out today to a range to shoot for the first time and fell in love. I've never really fired a 45 before. Not only did it not feel overwhelming it felt satisfying. It's aim was right on target even though I've not fired a pistol in years. I'll be buying another one of these and one of the 5.5inch barrel version. Thank you Cimarron and thank you Bud's Gun Shop.

Can this pistol use buffalo bore or +p ammo?

fantastic revolver. Has that old classic western feel is machine very very well and as accurate as it can be, I’m actually considering buying a second one. Definitely recommend.

I have two blue Cimarron Clones of this pistol in .357/.38, and they are great shooters. So I purchased this gun for SASS when I shoot .45 Long Colt. I liked the gun so much I just bought another nickel Cimarron .45 Long Colt. Now I will have a matching pair to go along with my Doc Holiday .45 and my lever action. All in All, solid guns-just solid.

I bought this Cimarron model 1875 to go with a Stoeger imported one that I bought about 4 years ago (both are made by Uberti). 2 minor and appreciated changes on this model. 1st, the rear sight channel is significantly larger. It makes it easier to pick up the front sight. 2nd, this is the first Uberti firearm I’ve purchased that didn’t come with the horrible red spray on finish. This has a nice brown walnut finish on the grips. The POI is about 1.5” to the left of POA, but at 15 yards offhand the 5 rounds of 45 Schofield made a single grey splash on the steel target. I own a fair number of single action revolvers, and this one is probably the most accurate. Be advised, the gun ships with a VERY heavy mainspring. Fortunately VTI sells a lighter mainspring that is an easy swap and makes the gun faster to shoot. Probably only important if you use it for CAS competition.

I have been wanting a Cimarron 1875 for awhile now and am a avid revolver shooter of all types but I never had a Remington style. I have to say that Cimarron did a fantastic job on the 1875, fit and finish is excellent, timing and lock up are excellent, trigger is excellent, and overall accuracy is excellent. The nickel looks great with no blemishes visible, grips look great although along blackstrap the grips hang over slightly but not really notable. Cannot tell a big difference in feel between this and the 1873 if your not looking but appearance of this is beautiful. Overall this is a excellent gun and a great purchase at a great price, this is my fourth Cimarron and there quality is excellent.
