• Q: Are the sights change able can a red dot sight be added

  A:

  The sights are changeable and are Novak style. To add a red dot though you'd have to send it to the manufacturer or qualified gun Smith to have the slide cut to accept red dots. They do make red dot mounting plates that replace your rear iron sight to accept red dots. They sell Novak style 1911 red dot mounts on Amazon or several other sites. Hope this helps.

  No this one doesn't have a threaded barrel, for a threaded barrel you'll need the tactical model. In stock here

  Honestly not sure, the only way I know to tell the difference is by the knowing what safety, or type of barrel bushing they use, and since neither buds or DDA lists this info on their website, telling you one way or another would be a guess l, if you want an accurate answer, you can contact DDA
