• Q: Has anyone actually chronographed this “180” grain ammunition? 1056fps for 180grain 40 S&W is really moving and not normally on the shelf for civilian use. If it is moving this fast, what length barrel was used?

  Hi Joe and welcome. I use a Glock 20 with 10mm, 40S&W, .357Sig and 9x25 Dillon KKM barrels. This only chronoed 923 avg fps from the 4.6 inch barrel. Cheers and stay safe!
• Q: Does anyone know what the specific bullet is that they used? Looks Like a berry's to me.

  Yes, the Legend Ammo should make fine ammo for your Springfield. Right now with the big guns&ammo panic buying still going on you may have settle for any ammo you can get in your caliber ... Then search out a favorite later on. Have fun shooting but be safe on the range.

SAAMI publishes various industry standards related to the field, including fire code, ammunition and chamber specifications, and acceptable chamber pressure.[1] Only manufacturers that are members of SAAMI are bound by the Institute's guidelines. (It is essentially an ammunition loading standard).
