Bernard, no the tp9 sf elite is not optics ready. I own this model and while it's a great pistol it's not optics ready. Now the canik tp9 elite sc Wich looks identical to this just smaller is optics ready. Maybe that's the one you're thinking of. Hope this helps.

No Manuel thumb safety. As mentioned, just the The trigger blade safety.

This does not have a manual thumb safety but has a trigger blade safety so unless the blade is pulled the trigger can't be pulled. I own the tp9 sf elite and it's a fantastic pistol, very accurate, reliable and a great trigger. You won't be disappointed with it. Hope this helps.

Daniel, it does not have or come with a Manual Thumb Safety Lever. It does have internal drop safety and a trigger blade safety similar to the Glock line of Handguns. Cheers and stay safe!

Brian, yes Sir it is. i have several Canik's and I would put them up against my Glock's, S&W's, Walthers's etc. any day. They are made to Turkish Military standards and are reliable, durable and accurate. I also own several Tauruses, G3c included and it is straight also. Both my wife and daughter carry one. it is a good gun but IMO you should just put extra money on the G3c and get it off layaway you you can always put this on layaway after you get the other one off

Walter, absolutely yes. Most manufacturers including Canik make firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their pistols can also be sold in states that have magazine capacity restrictions. The pistols are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The pistols will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine. Cheers!

Yes this is the exact same gun as the one that comes with 15rd magazines (this one https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/114599) it just comes with 10 rd magazines for customers in states with capacity restrictions, but it will run the larger magazines with no problems.

Walter, yes it will. The mag that comes with this is pinned to 10 rds for compliance in anti-2A states.

This thing is a beauty. First time gun owner/buyer here on Buds! Couldn't have asked for an easier purchase process, especially during this crazy time. Despite all that, Buds got my firearm to me on time and it was b-e-a-utiful right out of the box. The ammo I got was a bit iffy so it would jam (ammo jammed another well-kept, 5000+ round gun), but nothing on the Canik indicated that this was a poorly-made gun. It fired smoothly, taking it apart was easy, and is overall a great choice to start with or have around (as told to me by an experienced shooter. Again, I am new!).
