Love the gun but hate the trigger. Cannot believe how bad this trigger is for a precision rifle. Swapped it out with the JARD 1lb pull and man what a difference. Shooting under .5MOA 50yds with sk semi auto 22lr with vortex 6x24 tactical. Had to rate it a 3 for the savage trigger alone. Other then that is a whole lot of fun and accurate to shoot!

Absolutely love this rifle ! Paired it with 3-12x45 sig buckmaster scope and bipod. First dialed it in at 50 yards and put around 100 rounds through it with some auto match ammo. I noticed the groups started to tighten up so I then moved out to 100 yards . Once rezeroing the scope for 100 yards I was consistently tearing the center out of a 6" target . Legitimately could shoot a quarter at 100 yards. Proceeded to put another 150 rounds throught it without a single malfunction. Super excited to get this thing stretched out to 200 yards next time I go to the range . Very pleased with it's performance especially considering I have less than $650 invested into the entire setup .

Product came in damaged. Product got to me quick and riffle looks amazing.

This is a great target option in a quality semi auto from savage. The fit and finish is impeccable. The MDT stock is rock solid. It's a bit heavier than normal but I prefer it for stable shots. Paired with the Vortex Crossfire II scope and Harris bipod I added it is a real tack driver at 50 yards, I can't wait to try it at longer range.
My only disappointment is that the trigger does not adjust to as light of a pull as I'd hoped. If not for this 1 flaw this would be a perfect 22 rifle.
