Detachable magazine and threaded barrel say no.

No, if not for the threaded barrel you could but the threaded barrel makes it a no go. This the second Ruger 1022 Custom Shop model that I have purchased thru Bud's. My granddaughter and I fell in love with the first one, so old Grandpa decided we each "needed" one. We now have a friendly match each week. Great gun, lots of fun shooting it.

My granddaughter and I really like this rifle. It is the TALO model from
Ruger’s custom shop. Looks beautiful and is very accurate. Plan on acquiring another one in the near future.
