have wanted a 338 LP for 30 years , finally purchased from Buds . Great price and they had it to my FFL in 3 days . The rifle recoil feels like a 308. The break works very well. Balance of the rifle makes it feel lighter than it is . Stock is perfect , fluted barrel cools off as designed . First shot at the range was with 300 grain HSM. Shot off tripods by adding a ARCA mount on the MLock. Shoots very well . I am not a comp shooter but shoot weekly. 1st group 1 1/2 second group 1 inch . Trigger , no issues . Action , 7/10 mag fit 7/10. This won’t make any sense until you own one … rifle value and overall rating 10/10
