Purchased this gun after examining all of the weapons I was interested in before actually making the purchase. I compared the Mossberg to Savage, Ruger and several other 308 bolt action rifles. To me the Mossberg is better built and the workmanship seemed to be better than the others I considered. I am in the process of outfitting my rifle with several other shooting aids but getting close to hitting the range. Also, dealing with Buds was an effortless experience as usual. Thanks Bud.

Product was pristine out of the box. Smooth action, easy to boresight, and has minimal kick. Very easy to handle and looks great on the wall. Extra mags are not too expensive, and will handle .308 or 7.62 rounds. Threaded barrel is a nice option for additional accessories.
