Do cerakoted frames hold the color since it’s on polymer and not metal ? Does it wear off over time?

Hi and welcome. It holds the color quite well as it is bonded into the polymer. It will not wear off with normal use of the handgun. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Like any finish on a steel gun, it will hold to the polymer just as well. But, conditions & use are factors, just like they'd be for any finish. If you're running & gunning on the weekend on courses in inclement weather, it may wear quicker than if you just go to the range?
