Tracy, yes, this shotgun uses regular blueing (which is finished in a Matte Black). Just do regular maintenance of cleaning and lubing and it will be fine. Can you use this weapon to skeet shoot?

Leonard, it would be fine. Practice increases efficiency with just about any firearm. I have shot skeet with Pumps before and not experienced any difficulty. Cheers and stay safe!

I don't recommend pump action for skeet shooting, you want Over/Unders and Semi-Automatics shotgun for that. Pumping will take you off the target and considering the speed of the second skeet, you want every millisecond you got to get on the second clay. However, if you are shooting one clay at the time (trap) this is fine. I hope this helps!

After posting this…… After purchasing this firearm I picked up the Magpul forensic and it doesn’t fit at all….and taking advice to contact Magpul. They informed me that they don’t make a fore arm for Blueline and would not be helping me at all. Warning to all Magpul said stuff it to me

Wow, I'd be upset too. Really only other advice would be to contact blue line at 1-360-778-2052 hopefully they could give some information on why it wouldn't fit or possibly other brands that will. I'd also contact Magpul again and speak with someone new, always heard they had decent customer service so perhaps just caught someone on a bad day. Sorry you're having issues and hopefully can get it straightened out.

The Magpul accessories should work with no modifications. I would definitely contact Magpul customer service for help.

This is a smooth bore barrel. You would shoot rifled slugs. Sabot slugs would just have a tumble effect with not much accuracy.
