Makes no difference with regards to the muzzle device being welded & pinned in place. You will still be able to swap out the handguard with no issues.

Are you sure this isn’t the 14.5 inch barrel with pinned flash hider I see it on other websites as it being listed as a 14.5 inch barrel not a 16 inch

From what I'm seeing this has a 14.5 inch barrel and with it being pinned it makes it technically a 16 inch barrel. So some are listing it as 14.5 pinned barrel and some are just considering it 16 inch barrel since it's pinned. Hope this helps.
