  Bob, yes sir, for the price you wont find better, the maverick 88 is a great shotgun. It is a working mans version of the Mossberg 500 but is just as good and is compatible with most Mossberg 500 parts. I would definitely recommend the maverick 88. Hope this helps.

  Antonio, yes Sir. The Maverick 88 is a pump action shotgun manufactured for O.F. Mossberg & Sons. The Maverick 88 is virtually identical to the Mossberg 500. Most accessories not dealing with the trigger are interchangeable with a Mossberg 500 including Stocks and Pistol Grips. Cheers and stay safe!

• Q: I had one of these and loved it except for the screw that hokds the barrel on the mag tube would come loose after 6-12 rounds. It says to hand tighten only and still came loose. Even with using pliers later on. Sold it for that reason. Heard of that on hear b4?

• Q: Does the Maverick 88 now come without roll marks on the left side? Got mine today and there are none. Just wondering.

  Paul, this is correct. I have this model purchased in August last year without the roll marks and my brother purchased one around Nov 2017 and it has the roll marks.
