• Q: I have Dead Air Ghost 45M that has 1.345” diameter. Are the fixed sights compatible with that compensator?

  Hi Douglas and welcome. Depending on if you have the Ghost that measures 8.75” or the compact version at 6.2” long. The fixed sights are compatible with the compact and you will need higher sights for the full size Ghost 45M. Cheers and stay safe!

  Yes, Mark IV Tactical .22 Long Rifle 4.4 Inch Threaded Barrel Adjustable Rear Sight Top/Bottom Picatinny Rail Checkered Natural Angle Grip 10 Round Ruger Mark IV Tactical Simple one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. Recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. One-piece precision CNC machined grip frame. Ergonomic bolt stop. Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight to barrel alignment and higher accuracy. Contoured ejection port and easy to grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation. Accurate sighting system features adjustable rear sight and drilled and tapped receiver. Ambidextrous manual safety. Push button magazine release on the left side of the frame. • Q: The Ruger Mark IV tactical has a 0.862: diameter barrel. I am seeking a compensator with a matching diameter of 0.862".

  Rene, the overall diameter of the Tactical / Mark IV (Barrel Shroud) is greater than 0.862 and so is the Thread Protector. The Game Changer and Game Changer Pro are both the same OD as the Barrel and Thread Protector of the Tactical / Mark IV. • Q: What is the barrel diameter for compensator purposes?

  Patrick the Tactical has a smaller diameter barrel than the Lite. The Tactical barrel measures 0.862" in diameterl. I did not want to use a 22/45 compensator as they are 1.00" in diameter and would "hang over" the 0.862" barrel of the Tactical.

• Q: Are the Mark IV Tactical being currently sold exempt from the safety recall, or is there a chance of getting old stock that will need to be sent in for the recall repair?

• Q: Can the ambidextrous safety be modified to left side only?

  Yes it can, very easily Glenn. Ambidextrous manual safety positively locks the sear in the "SAFE" position when applied. Safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer.
