  a case is 5000 rounds 50 per box 500 per brick (10 boxes of 50) 5000 per case (10 bricks or 100 boxes) you may find them packages differently but those are the standard definitions of a case in 22 lr ammo

  Yes these will work well, The velocity at the Muzzle is
  1255 FPS.
  I try to run ammo through my semi auto 22lrs between 1000fps and 1450fps, this ammo by Aguila is right in the sweet spot for your Savage

• Q: Is this reliable for semiautomatic guns? I have a browning buckmark and a chiappa m4 22lr. These are a good price

  Yes, it is reliable stuff. I’ve also tried their 22 short ammo and those also worked well. The Browning is a high quality firearm and will cycle this ammo well. The Chiappa is will also work well. I’ve used these on 4 AR style rifles. I’m a big 22 fan. I’ve tried so many ammo brands. These will do the job. Now if you plan to do some match shooting I would try this out, but especially try out as many types as you can to see what your particular firearm likes the most.
