Wilson Combat EDCX9 1911 EDC X9 9mm 15+1 G10 - Blue/Black, 4" Barrel, 15+1 Rounds, Composite Grips, 3-Dot Sights

This is a very sweet gun. It operates flawlessly right out of the box and it is very accurate. I have several 1911-type guns, including other high-end ones, but this is clearly the best.
The only 'disappointment' -- and this is completely my fault for not checking more carefully in advance -- is that it does not come with a 'grip safety' that is part of the traditional 1911 design. I'm not sure why this feature did not make its way into the design of this great gun, but I don't think it's critical. However, as a 1911 enthusiast, I assumed it was on there and I would have liked to have it as an additional safety measure.

I already had a Wilson Combat 92 G Centurion and expected the same quality in the EDC X9…I was not disappointed…in fact I was blown away. The handgun feels perfect in my hand… like no other. The fit and finish lives up to Wilson’s legendary reputation. Is it worth almost $3,000? If your budget can afford it I say yes… wholeheartedly!
