• Q: Is this the model with a little extension at the front of the hand stock that you push in to take down the shotgun?

  Timothy, yes sir, it has a little button in the front of the forend. Just push the button and the handguard pops off, then you can take the barrel off. Very simple to disassemble. If you Google Stevens 301 review you'll find reviews showing how to take it apart. Hope this helps.
• Q: I have the .410 Turley model of the 301 and it ejects. Does this model eject or does it only have extractor?

  Scottie, I shoot trap with one of these. Point of aim is right on. With the 26" barrel, cheek on stock, look right down the barrel top and poof, clay powder. Guys that review firearms that shoot poorly just shoot poorly.

• Q: Can the butt stock of this shotgun be shortened or lengthened ?

  Eric, the interior of the stock is hollow so shortening it may pose difficulty as the molded screw points would likely be cut off. As for making it longer, I usually just find a decent slip on recoil pad to add a bit of length, spacers may also work if the proper size is available.

  Hi Briton, It is Win Choke Compatible. Stevens 301 Single Shot comes with a Modified Choke, If you feel you want to adjust the pattern go right ahead and install any compatible Win Choke thread pitch aftermarket chokes.
