Excellent holster for your revolver. Very comfortable and great for pocket conceal. Buds as always been the best.

A S&W 442 5-shot .38 revolver will NOT fit in this holster, despite Uncle Mike's description. Buds made good on it, though. Kudo's for Buds.

Fits my Taurus Ultralite .38 Special like a glove. It covers the hammer, so I feel safe carrying it around in my pocket or in a bag, and firm enough that the hammer isn't in danger of getting flicked - as has happened before when carrying a revolver just bare in my pocket. Though definitely noticeable in my pocket, it does break up the profile quite a bit. The material is snug against the revolver enough and "grippy" enough that it doesn't come out with the pistol when I retrieve it from my pocket.

    The holster that I use for my Taurus M85 pistol is the U. Mikes is the 89161 RIGHT HAND size 16 ( upc # 043699891610 ). It says it fits med to large autos . Personally I use this one because on the most inner side it is longer and rests on the body. Because it is longer on that side it prevents the hammer spur from digging ( especially when I bend over ) into my skin and it protects the metal of the gun from perspiration that could cause rust . The grip is still fully accessible and easy to pull from the holster. I hope this helps you and thank you for the question .
