  no the hammer add 0.7 OZ to the weight not enough to make any difference in carry or shooting

• Q: I know with sometimes moon clips are not required in revolvers for rimmed rounds like 38.. However I know for some semi rimmed rounds (like 9mm) moon clips are required to use in a revolver (outside of Charter Arms and an old SW model). What about this Ruger revolver? Are moon clips required? Or could I load and eject these without moon clips?

• Q: Isn't this pistol California compliant? I saw it on the California registry list, but not in the California compliant section of your website

  Hi Peter, this pistol is CA compliant and should be on Buds CA Model list. Buds has not updated their CA compliant models since 1/2018 and need to do so.

• Q: Recently I was told it is okay to use 32 acp as well as 327 in this LCRx.

  You can shoot 32 ACP in a 327 Magnum revolver just fine. The most important thing to consider is the pressure. - 32 S&W Long: 11,600 CUP - 32 ACP: 15,000 CUP - 32 H&R Mag: 21,000 CUP - 327 Federal Mag: 35,500 PSI.

• Q: Why do so many places have the wrong information on this pistol in this caliber? AFAIK all of these in 327 fed mag are 6 rds. Or are there models that only fit 5 in this caliber?
