Quick shipping from Buds- as always! Shipped on Monday and arrived at my FFL in two days. After inspecting it, I took it right to the range and fired 100 shots through it. It was a combination of Winchester white box 180 grain and Blazer Brass 180 grain. Ran that ammo just fine. I love the concealability of this. I already have the Shield 2.0 version of the 9mm and carry that in the summer. I have been waiting to get this for a little while and the price was just right and included night sights and 3 magazines. The Smith and Wesson M&P line has been a winner for me. Of course the 40 caliber has more pop than the 9mm, but holding it feels the same. The recoil is manageable.Thanks, Buds, for this opportunity! Great transaction as it has been always.

Bought this for a little caliber diversity in my collection of CC firearms. I am not enamored with larger capacity mags as I prefer the zero imprinting, and I have a two mag carrier. However, I do like the stopping power of the .40 vs 9mm, and the size of the .40 S&W subcompact vs the Glock .45 compact. Like all S&W products it is extremely well built and feels familiar like my Shield 9. I could be happier. Accurate out of the box. The only downside is the mags are extremely stiff compared to the Shield 9. It hurt like hell on my thumb to load out the 3 mags. Not disappointed with the power or consistency through my 100 rounds of Hornady CSD. The bark and kick is definitely different than the Shield 9 so those that are new to subcompacts and larger calibers my not like the gun right away. But, like anything else, it takes a little getting used to I suppose. I shoot a 1911 quite often and this isn't a big transistion at all.

Great gun, great price. Very little recoil. I wish it had Glock 27 capacity though.
