Inexpensive CIA version of Tokarev. Finish o.k. Sight was a bit off; tends to shoot to left. However, no problems with gun. Nice add to my collection of WWII type arms.

Good, solid steel, reliable pistol. Not as nicely polished as some other Eastern European guns, but a good buy for the money. Have fired a couple of boxes of PPU commercial ammo through it without a hiccup.

cycles great....cartridge hits hard...like a 22 hornet.....mine shoots to the left but can be compensated for with practice.....surprised not more guns for this caliber.........would make a great starter rifle etc.....ammo not cheap........

I Finally got around to purchasing the Zastava M57 from Bud's and I can't be happier. Haven't had a chance to fire the pistol yet so this is just a review of the purchase from Bud's. After seeing Century Arms Int. 2016 catalog and noticed the M57 was no longer pictured, I gave them a call and found out they were no longer importing this particular firearm. I spent 2 days wondering what to do since I really wanted to be able to hold the pistol in my hand first before buying since that is what I normally do however, never saw one at any gun shops or shows, so I placed the order with Bud's and within 1 week, the M57 was in the hands of my local FFL and I picked it up the following Saturday. This gun maybe old technology compared to newer items but the finish on it is beautiful and I have field stripped the gun and it is as easy to do, as others have stated. Can't wait to shoot it. A lot of fun. The finish is quite good, although there was a tiny dot of rust on the mag release. On mine, the sights will need some adjustment. The trigger is gritty and has a heavy pull. I've read that there is a fair amount of variation in the trigger, so YMMV. The round is a lot of fun and has a sharper, but not harder recoil than my 9mms. As others have written, it is very easy to field strip and clean. For the price, it's worthwhile. You're owning and shooting a piece of history.

For the price, it can not be beat. Very accurate at 10 - 15 yards, with a semi-tight group. Definitely a conversation piece at the Gun Range or at a Gun Show. 7.62x25 Ammo is readily available, and just like the videos on you tune, it is LOUD and literally breathes fire. Ease of cleaning and maintenance is a big plus as well. I would recommend this gun as an introductory gun for someone wanting cheap home defense, and for someone who wants some "Cold War" nostalgia.
