Hi John, yes sir, this will shoot slugs. This comes with 3 choke tubes, full, modified, & improved cylinder. IC choke tube will give best results with slugs, do not shoot slugs through a full choke. Stay safe & have a great day!

John, this shotgun has a 3 inch Chamber and can fire the shorter 2 3/4 inch shells no worries. Same concept as a .357 Mag revolver being able to fir the shorter .38 Special cartridge. Cheers and stay safe!
