The AK-47 is available in two designs, the first features a handle made with thick aircraft grade aluminum scales and the other comes with G-10 scales. Both offer a robust grip that is remarkably tough, rigid, and incomparably strong. The grip is also equipped with a unique pommel. The hollow ground blades are honed by hand until they reach levels of sharpness only seen on a surgeons scalpel. They are made from Japanese AUS 8A Stainless steel, then vacuum heat treated, and sub zero quenched to make them as tough and rugged as humanly possible. The aluminum handled version comes with a bead blast finish and the G-10 version comes with a black Teflon coated blade.

Items Like The Cold Steel AK47 Stainless

Superb folder. I skinned my first deer with this blade. The clip (not shown) is ambidextrous. It feels very secure in my hands, even when wet. The aus 8a steel makes it superior to most other folding knives that are usually 420 stainless. It has a higher carbon content making it very easy to sharpen as it remains razor sharp. Check out the thumb stud. It is ambidextrous as well and when closed and clipped inside your pocket, simply pull out, the thumb stud is designed to catch and fling open. Best pocket knife I have ever owned. Great price here too.
