I really like the look of the gun. One star for that. I like the feel of the gun. Another star for that. I like the idea of the gun. But if you are going to make a gun, it should work. Mine doesn't. I have had it at the range twice and both times, with both of my magazines, every other shot was a failure. Mostly FTFs. I have oiled it, polished the feed ramps, and tried to remove burrs from the magazine lip. No difference. I have heard it is caused by the magazines being poorly constructed... Maybe. I havent contacted the manufacturer yet because I have just been too busy. I dont believe the gun is junk, as I have heard some say. If there is a way to get this gun up and running reliably, I would really like that to happen. But I will probably have to go through the manufacturer to get to that point. And hopefully not more than once. If you are considering this gun, buy with caution, knowing you may get one that doesnt run. It is apparently a known and widespread issue. Maybe I can update this review if I can get the gun reliable. We will see.

THIS IS A REALLY NICE GUN. NOT TOO LIGHT AND NOT TOO HEAVY.. FEELS JUST RIGHT. IN MY OPINION THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT CCW. NOT A LOT OF RECOIL AND SHOOTS FLAWLESSLY. I HAVE USED SEVERAL BRANDS OF 9MM AMMO AND THEY ALL WORK JUST FINE. THIVERY NICELY PRICEDS GUN IS NOT PICKY AT ALL. AND ITS VERY NICELY PRICED AND COMES IN A VIARIETY OF COLORS. I RECOMMEND THIS GUN.

Actually I was pleasantly surprised by this Sccy pistol. The trigger wasn't as heavy as I thought it might be.The DAO pull is consistant.Once you get used to the trigger, follow up shots aren't difficult to stay on target.I've heard others say recoil was snappy.I didn't find that to be the case with target rounds. The grip is slick so I would suggest some traction grips, such as Talon. What I like most is the finish on the slide and the sights. The sights are dead on target from 7-10 yards.I haven't tried it yet from longer distances but for $180 this works just fine after 250 rounds.I've kept my eye on the frame pins as I've read that they tend to try and work themselves out after so many rounds but so far I haven't had that problem.

This is the second SCCY I have purchased. The only problem with the first one was a frame pin that worked loose. SCCY sent me a new over-sized pin, no charge, questions asked. This one appears to be the same great quality. Some people say the recoil is snappy, but to me it is easy to handle

Purchased this gun from buds for an extra to keep on the glove box or for my wife to put in her purse. For the price you can't go wrong with buying this gun. You do need to break this gun in. Had a few jams right from the start. Just put a couple of hundred rounds through it and then break it down and clean it really good. Seems to work great after its loosened up a bit. Trigger pull is smooth but fairly long. If you don't release it fully between shots it won't reset. If you don't practice with it and get used to the trigger you may have trouble if you're ever caught in a bad situation. With a little breaking in and getting used to the trigger reset it really is a good value for the money. Buds was also great to deal with. Shipping was lightning fast in my case.
