I own 3 of these now. They are hands down the best Ar15 you can buy for the money. All of mine came out of the box dead on at 100yrds. I have run thousands of rounds through my oldest one and have yet to have a malfunction.

Very good AR for anyone, whether new to ARs or you already have a couple. Can’t beat what you get for the price. Smith and Wesson did an excellent job with this gun.

Extremely happy with this AR. I have nothing negative to say about it. After researching it the only negative thing I\\\'ve found on it is the handgaurd. People claim it gets hot but only if your shooting several rounds rapidly. That doesn\\\'t affect me I\\\'m not shooting like I\\\'m at war. Although I do intend to replace it to attach a light on my handgaurd. Would definitely recommend this rifle.

Waynn, No. but with the case deflector the spent cases will go in front of a left handed shooter. You will have no problem with brass hitting you.

the difference in .223 and 5.56 is the thickness of the brass and pressure. You can shoot .223 in a 5.56 barrel with no problem. I would not shoot 5.56 in a .223 barrel unless it is a .223 Wylie barrel.

Joshua, no Sir. The Daniel Defense OMEGA is for a Mid-Length Gas Tube and the S&W Sport II is a Carbine Length. This BlackHawk will fit just fine : https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/75447/blackhawk+71qf02bk+ar15+2+piece+quad+rail+ar-15

Christopher, the standard Colt Hand guard will fit fine and is not free floated so no worries.

Walter, So, Stainless Steel fouls less and is easier to clean. Due to less fouling and better finishes the Stainless barrel is up to 30% more accurate than its Chrome Moly counterpart as long as you are not continually firing the firearm and heating up the barrel. There are different quality of stainless steel barrel. 410, 416, and 416R. The main difference between 416R and standard 416 stainless steels is the addition of Molybdenum (which is present in 410 but not 416 stainless steels) and a lower sulfur content than 416 stainless steel (but still higher than 410 stainless steel). Steel barrels would be 4140 or 4150 steel. The 4150 has 10% more carbon in the steel making it harder. A popular example and perennial favorite in the U.S. is called SAE 4140 or 4150 chrome-molybdenum or \"chrome-moly\" steel. In Europe, vanadium and nickel-steel alloys are preferred. Most standard barrels are made with alloy steels, as they offer an excellent balance of strength and cost. As your collection of ARs grow you will have sporting rifles with stainless steel, 4140 and 4150 barrels. Stainless steel is softer and will be shot out faster after 10,000 to 20,000 rounds or less.

Christopher, the Del-ton would be my choice here Sir. The 316L has a lightweight profile Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel barrel with Manganese Phosphate finish.
    • Answered
No it is not zeroed in from the factory the it will be close (at a short range) but you will need to sight it in with your chosen ammo
