Very nice pistol and reliable. Feels very comfy in my hands. I've had zero issues with this firearm as of this review. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a higher capacity .45 ACP pistol.

Great pistol, good handling 100 percent reliable. If i could choose a duty pistol instead of my issued weapon, this would be it! Functions great with my aac can!

I bought a ppq Q4 tac 9mm a few months back and I was amazed how well it shot right out of the box it was a tack driver! When it came time for a new .45 the ppq quickly came to mind, personally I only have 2 gripes with the gun. 1 it’s not available as a m1 with paddle mag release- which I really like , most people will be happy with the button and it’s fine I just really like the paddle. 2 the plastic sights are ok but I will definitely be putting some Dawson night sights on it. On that note I will say the design of the ppq makes for the easiest sight changes of any semi-auto I have owned. No special tools required front is screwed in like a Glock and for the rear depress a pin and slide the sight out .
I have had 3 range sessions with my ppq .45 and it’s extremely accurate- just like the 9mm and even though it’s just a little bigger in every direction it retains the grip ergonomics from the ppq 9mm which are just awesome, as well as that amazing trigger. I have not concealed carried this gun due to the sights and the fact I would need to train my self to stop depressing the trigger guard and use the button for mag swaps . But it has ran flawlessly for 600 or so rounds of 185 gr Fmj to 230 gr fed HST .
I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a very nice .45 with good capacity and awesome ergonomics and the best striker trigger there is all for less than a Glock?

This gun fits my hand, and is dead nut accurate. Love the trigger pull, and the texture of the grip. I would recommend this to a friend in a heart beat!

I put a box a Blazer through the PPQ 45 and it ran just fine. It is a nice pistol and built well. It is about the size of most service sized pistols. The polymer is very light, but the pistol still seems well built. The trigger is relatively light and smooth similar to a competition trigger, and the reset is incredibly short. Two or three times I had unintentional double taps--the reset is really that short. The sights are adjustable and you can install your own sights on this gun in a few minutes with a couple of cheap tools. I've read online of complaints of harsh recoil with the PPQ, but that was not the case at all and the pistol handled the recoil very well. This is certainly a fine pistol and would recommend buying it if your okay with a light trigger and a very short reset.
