CZ normally has a good coating of oil on them. Gun was received with rust down the side of the rib. Cheap case was busted in shipping and had a pretty dent in forearm.

Bought this for one of my sons in laws to hunt with. He’s used it several times while duck hunting. He doesn’t like semi autos and says this was a great fit for his left handed shooting!

I've had the CZ for two weeks. I'm shooting better than I ever did with my 870. The purchase process was very good. Two other websites that I previously have worked with could not get it but showed MRPs of $655. Buds had the gun and delivered it in three days. Their referred FFL was also very good. The purchase experience was great. You never know on the internet but Buds was great.

After mounting nine different over under shotguns (expensive and cheap) this one fit me the best. If you are left handed and have a 14 1/2 inch length of pull, this is the gun for you. The forearm is well designed to easily keep your right index finger pointed to the muzzle and the trigger pull is nice. Shot a quarter size dot at twenty feet putting bead in the center of the dot and the dot disappeared, proving the gun shoots true. Nice weight so you do not notice any excessive recoil with 1 oz shot going 1221 FPS. Shot one 3 inch Winchester double x copper plated 00 buck (15 pellets ) into 30 inch circle at 50 yards with full choke and 12 pellets were in the circle. Pretty impressive. Barrel selection is also a nice feature. Yes, some over under guns do not have that option. I have shot over 500 clays with zero problems. Nice firearm for under $600.

Came in a plastic case with the chokes. I shot it and am happy with the quality. Lightweight feel but also very solidly build, easy to take down. I would recommend this shotgun

I'm am quite pleased with the 12ga CZ Drake Southpaw. The look of the gun is great, the price ($547) was fair, and it operated flawlessly at the range throughout 100 rounds of fire (I have yet to use it beyond that). The recoil pad wasn't very forgiving, which is something I read about on several other reviews. I feel confident that I bought a great gun for the price.
