  The butt stock and the receiver colors are different. The receiver is Grey, and the rear buttstovk is Black.

  Homer, recoil is a mid range recoil pulse. It is less so with 155gr loads and creeps up a little bit with heavier bullets. • Q: The Savage 2019 catalogue clearly states on page 6 that this model (57007) and the others in 20” and LH are available with fluted barrels. Very confusing as many things on this website.

• Q: I am really confused?? I just looked at one at a local store and the Savage Model 110 Tactical .308 24” TB Accufit had a Fluted Barrel. I was hoping to save a $100 by using Buds again but you all make it sound like this is not the rifle described as the 110 Tactical??

  Tommy, this is the same model. Buds Customer Service should be able to verify the Fluted Barrel with their Inventory Dept. at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
• Q: I see a answer already saying barrel is not fluted. But in pictures an other sites it shows a fluted barrel?

  Thomas - you are right - even on Savage's web site, it pictures this rifle with a fluted barrel, That said, it seems some models of the 110 series do have fluted barrels, and some do not. While I found this listed with several vendors, none of them, nor does the Savage web site, make any mention of this particular model having a fluted barrel. I believe they are all just using a 'stock' picture to represent the firearm, not necessarily a picture of the actual gun being sold. I do not believe it has a fluted barrel, but you can certainly call Savage, give them the UPC (important) and model number, and ask them. Their number is (413) 568-7001 or (800) 370-0708.

  Jesse - No sir, the barrel on this one is not fluted it is a "Threaded heavy barrel with end cap" per the Savage web site. With the included 20 MOA EGW rail, and the Accustock, this one should be a great long range shooter.
