I was in search of a long range shooting rifle that wouldn’t “break the bank” and I read up on the savage and after actually seeing on in person I had to get it. I couldn’t more pleased with this rifle. One of many things I like/love about this rifle is the clean design. The fully floated aluminum bedded barrel is awesome. The bolt is easy to grab ahold of also. Yes it may weigh a little more than some but it’s not a .22 also. I included a bipod and muzzle break on mine which added more weight to it also. I would highly recommend this rifle to someone wanting a good, budget friendly LRR.

Love this rifle for competition, not as accurate as the Model 12 LRP in 6.5 CM but is still 1/2 to 1/4 depending on the load. It is one of my favorite rifles, somewhere like my 3rd or 4th on my list of rifles. Likes 140 grains bullets, with IMR4350 with small rifle primers. This is much better for tactical competitions because it uses common magazines.

Very satisfied with the purchase. My first time buying online was a breeze.
As for the rifle im very impressed, im glad the color is actually FDE and not so light tan looking like the picture. Also this is my first 6.5 crredmor and I've got to say it is darn accurate and easy on the recoil in this configuration/model.
On a side note I'd like to mention you should go with low height scope rings when mounting optics on this model imo.

Set the rifle up with a Precision Armament VG6 brake and a Leupold mark 4 for glass. After a quick zero from a bench I moved on to some groupings. Did not disappoint. Shot a 3 shot group and two 5 shot groups. All 3/4” or smaller with Hornady match 147 grain eld. I truly believe the rifle is capable of better.

Would not recommend. Bolt operation is very poor. Worst bolt I have ever owned. Magpul mag sent with gun does not feed reliably. Trigger is nice. Accuracy is very good. Gun is use able-bodied for range, but reliability would concern me for hunting, competition or tactical use. As it is called 110 tactical.

I did a lot of research on a new gun this time. I went with the savage 110 tactical 6.5 Creedmoor. I made the right choice! I broke it in right it took 26 rounds. It is a great shooter. It is easy to set it up right for you. The screws in the butt could be better? Hard to find them. Otherwise everything is great. I can shoot as good as my buddies 1500 gun. Custom built. I am shooting 1%u201D to 1.5%u201D groups of 3 at 200 yards. I have only shot 30 rounds so far. I like the light kicking caliber and the choice of ammo and reasonable price. The bolt was a little sticky at first. After 30 rounds it is getting better. I like the magnpul clip options for it. It is cheaper than the predator 110 and I got the 100 rebate making it 450! The service was quick and easy with my local dealer! I am very happy with this gun! If you want a long range shooter and deer gun, you cannot go wrong with this! Good luck and safe shooting! The gun will do the rest!

Very accurate after about 20 shots through the gun. I shot a 6 3/4 inch group at a1000 yards using factory Hornady 140 ELD ammo. I am very happy with guns accuracy. Put a low end vortex on this gun and bipod. I’m in it for just a touch over a 1000 dollars for everything. My friends custom made 6.5 Creedmoor doesn’t shoot any better and he’s in that gun for over 10,000. With the 24 barrel and 140 gr bullets it was making the 1200 yard target with consistent hits on target my friends gun he was shooting 147 gr bullets 20inch barrel was not accurate at all at 1200. Hope that helps and as usual Bud’s filled my order in a timely manner.
