  Is the sxp black shadow (not deer version) Rifled or smooth bore?

  Hi Mark and welcome. This model has a Smooth Bore - Includes a 28" chrome plated and 0.742" back bored barrel with 3" chamber that can fire all factory 2 3/4" and 3" steel, tungsten, bismuth and lead loads. Chokes Included: Invector-Plus Flush (IC, M, F). Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

  Thomas, yes, if it is chambered in 3", the you can use either 2 3/4" or 3" shells. Have a great day!

• Q: Can I get a 26" 3 inch barrel for this? Also could I get a 26 barrel that is 3.5?

  You don't need 3.5" since Winchester SXP Black Shadow fires all factory 2.75", 3", and 3.5" shells. The 26" barrel model is out of stock right now. Your best bet is to buy a replacement barrel or wait until the 26" version comes back. I hope this helps!

  as a 28 inch 12 ga shotgun with screw in choke tubes it is great hunting guns that can be used for almost anything through the use of choke and different ammo to match it to the game you are hunting 7 1/2 shot for dove &quail 6 shot for Pheasant steel for ducks and geese and buckshot foster type rifled slugs for deer
