I’m not a scope person but what does that mean?

Let me just say, bore sighted doesn’t mean it’s zeroed. Bore sighting is a preliminary procedure to achieve proper alignment of the scope with the rifle’s bore. It is best done with a bore sighted. If a bore sighter is not available, it can be done as follows: Remove the bolt and sight through the gun barrel at a 100 yard target. Then sight through the scope and bring the cross hairs to the same point on the target. Certain mounts have integral windage adjustments and, when bore sighting, these should be used instead of the scope’s internal adjustments. If major elevation adjustments are needed, they should be accomplished by shimming the mount base. It was my pleasure to assist you.

Brother it just means they aligned the barrel wit da scope

I see in the description that the scope is a Weaver, but down in the rifle specs it says Bushnell. Does anyone know the correct scope? Thanks

In the time I have had it, I've shot a remarkable 300 rounds through this thing. Until now, the experience has been absolutely wonderful, and the scope has remained at zero for quite a long period. Someone misaligned the scope. They also accidentally stripped one of the screw taps on the mount. To fix this issue, I resorted to taping it myself.

This rifle is amazing took it to the range and was sighted in and hit target with minor adjustments bolt is smooth as butter. The shipping times for buds is great got the updates about shipping and will definitely buy from buds again

This rifle is a great set up. It was on paper with the first shot and zeroed in with 6 shots. The recoil and kick is really comfortable with the nice butt pad that Savage has put on this rifle. I like the way the stock sets up as well. The Bushnell Banner scope is better than what I expected. It has holdover points for all the way out to 500 yards. I usually do not find bolt action rifles a lot of fun, but this rifle changed my mind. We went out to 200 yards with ease. Next time we go to the range we are going to try the 600 yard bay. This rifle is my sons and I honestly wish it was mine. For a rifle/scope combo I do not know a better one. I own the Mossberg Patriot Vortex combo in 308 and if I had known about this package I would have went with the Savage.
