This is a very nice little 22. It shoots good, is pretty accurate, and cycles very nicely. The bolt cover is a plastic piece and on my copy broke after a few hundred rounds. Savage was excellent and shipped me one immediately, no questions asked. Other than that this rifle works very well and I am pleased with it

So I have bought quite a few things from Buds, maybe too many things and they have never disappointed me. The prices are always competitive and to my mind they remain the price to beat 99% of the time. The selection is also first rate, there isn't much they don't have. This order was a little different experience for a couple of reasons. The time it took Buds to ship was kinda long a week from being in the shipping dept to actually shipping but, worse things happen at sea. It arrived as advertised and as always, well packaged. The rifle, well I have several Savage rifles, they have always been great for the money and dead nuts accurate. I love the way you can change the barrel yourself and I have done this myself. This rimfire also allows for changing the barrel, should one ever want to. The accutrigger means you can adjust the trigger out of the box, not throw it away and buy a replacement as you do with a 10/22. The action feels good and it is well made. Accuracy appears to be outstanding but I have only been shooting basic ammo at 50 yards. Certainly no accuracy issues. I can now say, it feeds 100% but....... Initially I had to send it back to Savage as it didn't cycle properly. Kudos to Savage, they paid for the shipping and had it back to me within 2 weeks cycling like a champ. The paperwork reports they had to change the bolt. I have the rifle set up with a Leopold VX Freedom 2/7* 32 and it is a nice combination. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
