Just finished my 200 round break-in (as recommend by Kahr) for my P380. I am glad to report that the little gun performed well. When I got it, I disassembled it, cleaned it, then reassembled it. The disassembly and reassembly was an exercise with a steep learning curve but with the help of some Internet videos, it went back together—that gets easier with practice. Must read the manual. The P380 fed Win white box flat nose flawlessly. Sig practice 380 fed flawlessly as well. Had a few FTFs with longer rounds. This one may replace my J frame. I will probably buy another one.

Only have 100rds through it. Feels good in the hand. pocket size. Spring is real stiff. Trigger pull is long. needs to be adjusted to something that is more predictable.

The experience of working with Bud's gunshop has been very enjoyable. Fast, direct and professional.

The Kahr P380 was a choice I made with some trepidation. Some reviewers doubt its reliability. So far the Kahr has been flawless; sixty rounds fired with no problems whatsoever. The gun is very accurate, beautifully engineered and executed! I recommend the Kahr with no hesitation.

Very high quality modern 380, perhaps the best currently made. After breakin, entirely reliable with Speed Gold Dots. Easy to carry and conceal in a pocket holster. If circumstances don't allow a larger weapon, the Kahr P380 is an excellent choice. Factory night sights in dovetails a big plus.

I did a lot of looking and reading on line about ‘mouse firearms’ before I finally purchased this little Kahr from Bud’s. I could Not be happier. I am one of those guys that never was a ‘9 fan’. My smallest pistol was a G27 Glock which is a .40 cal subcompact. I like that firearm very well, but I wanted something truly pocket-sized that would be easy to conceal carry 365 days a year. Even the ‘9s’ don’t really get that tiny. (With the exception of the Boberg & even it has its pluses and minus). So .380 it was. This lil Kahr is less than 5 inches long and less than 4 inches high. I’m nearly 6’4” and yet it is comfortable in my fairly large hands. Light....under a pound, and small, yet comfortable to hold and shoot. Speaking of small it’s only 3/4 of an inch thick. Kahr RECOMMENDS at least a couple hundred rounds for break ins. Once thru the beginning of the break in, she has ran like a champ tearing through several different types of ammo. However, it will NOT eat the blue box fmj Fiocchi ammo AT ALL. The Only knock on the pistol I have at this time is the slide removal is Not as convenient as other semi-autos. It is Not a major thing, but you have to line up a mark on the slide with a mark on the frame and then the slide stop has to have a lil help from a screw driver, or pocket knife to pull it out to be able to remove slide. Pluses include size....or lack of, weight....or lack of, comfortable even for large hands, well built, very good trigger for a tiny firearm, and nice night sights. I did a lot of looking and reading before I chose this firearm. Though I bought this without ever having even ever handling one, i’m Very pleased with my selection. Love my G27, but my Kahr P380 and my NAA Guardian are True ‘pocket guns’ that you could have on you 365 no matter what your wearing. Hope this review helps others. To each their own. Be Safe and Be Smart.

Purchased this P380 for pocket carry, have had the CW380 before but let it go. So far at the range I have fired 100 American Eagle fmj, 100 Lawman fmj and 50 Hornaday Critical Defense. I have had zero malfunctions or issues. Stay away from cheap, crappy ammo and you will have no problems. If that's a problem for you because you believe every gun should shoot every ammo then get another gun. Many reasons to love this gun, foremost for me being the trigger, the way it feels in my hand (grip angle) and the trijicon sights. 5 stars for the Kahr P380 and 5 stars for Bud's.

Almost didn't buy this little pistol because of some bad reviews. Glad that I did because this is the best 380 on the market. I have the sig p238 and ruler lcp. I shoot the kahr the best. If you are on the fence about this one, I say get one. They are that good.

buds as usual is 5 star. I chose this gun because I shot my friends a month ago at the range and thought it was simply awesome for a small pocket. 380, he says he has had no problems with it what so ever. AFTER TAKING IT APART AND CLEANING IT, took mine down to the range, apprehensive at first after reading the bad internet and low and behold 200 rounds later blazer, wwb, hornady and imagine that, no fail to feeds!!! yes it is a little expensive but it is a sweet shooter and definitely a summer pocket gun for me

Pros: Quality feel and look of materials. Soft shooter for this caliber pistol size. Compact. Match barrel. Real sights.Better feel in the hand than P3AT/LCP.Nice trigger. Slide locks on empty magazine. Cons: Too expensive for what it is. Will not feed/cycle all ammo types reliably due to bullet profile. Tinckering required by yourself or Kahr to get it to work "temporarily". Premature slide lock issues. Failure to return to battery issues. Failure to fire, light primer strikes.Too many other "proven" options available in this caliber at half the price. I will say that this is a very nice pistol that requires alot of attention. Not good for a novice or someone looking for a reliable CCW or first and only pistol. Perhaps Kahr pushed the mechanical boundaries too far on this design so much that it requires constant attention. With the TCP, LCP, P3AT, DB380 available at a lower price point. It is hard to justify this amount on another pocket 380. Kahr's larger caliber pistols have better performance record at about the same price range/size. I would recommend looking into P9/PM9, P40/PM40, MK9/MK40. Their steel frame pistols are also favored for reliability over their polymer versions. I really like this pistol and am having a hard time deciding if I should get rid of it yet because it looks so nice. But I'm not relying on it to save myself or someone in a jam anytime soon.
