Berretta clone that requires some break-in with high-powered ammo before the gun loosens up and ejects lower powered ammo reliably. The stock is attractive but dings easily. Good buy with a manufacturer that backs it's warranty. I do recommend getting the BUD's extended warranty as it is a bargain.

I like the TriStar Viper Bronze G2 enough in 20 gauge to make me want to buy another one in 28 gauge. Bought it as an experiment of sorts to see how the Turkish gun would hold up. Have probably 500 rounds through it. The recoil spring broke at some point, but the gun still functioned perfectly. Tri-Star sent me a new one within 2 days. Maybe that is foreshadowing to the future longevity? Trigger is overly heavy. 7.75 lbs and would not trip with the weight of the gun. Installed the mcarbo.com replacement trigger spring that many say helps immensely. It reduced it down to 7 lbs, still will not trip the trigger by hanging the weight of the gun from it. The trigger is basically my only complaint. The wood I got from Bud's is pretty plain compared to some I have seen at various other dealers. That is the chance you take when buying online using only stock photos. The only failure to ejects I have had were when I accidently bought a box of low recoil AA's.

My recently purchased 20ga Viper Bronze has some very nice wood on it, way above the price point of the gun. It is a very good looking 20ga. auto. I currently have about 250 rds through the gun so at this point I would consider it broke in. The gun functions 100% with Remington Gun Clubs and my target reloads, it will not feed and eject Federal Top Guns hardly at all. The gun shoots to point of aim and handles well. The only major downside to it is the terrible trigger, mine is over 8 lbs! I changed out the trigger return spring but that didn't do much,took it to about 6.5 lbs. Hopefully it will wear in. Cosmetically it's great, mechanically average.

This is a beautiful gun and I will use it as a wall hanger over the fireplace in my family room.

Very nice shotgun, great wood, fit and finish is excellent. It functions without fail with proper ammunition. Excellent sales service from Bud's Gun Shop. A really good shotgun for a really reasonable price.
