The Winchester 1873 Carbine is a genuine classic true to the original Gun That Won The West! It's possibly the most functional and practical firearm ever produced and it's great fun to shoot! This rifle has a venerable design still favored by many hunters and shooters, because the 1873 Carbine is fast to the shoulder, quick on the swing, and lightweight. It features a 20" round barrel with a barrel band and a carbine style forearm that provides a traditional grip. The straight grip, grade I walnut stock with a carbine style buttplate goes right to the shoulder. With a blued brushed polished finish this rifle has a timeless look and feel. It has a 10 round magazine, a ladder style rear sight with a blade style front sight and the receiver is drilled to accept and optional peep-sight (sold separately). The Model 1873 Carbine is an excellent choice for a ranch gun, hunting in heavy cover or even Cowboy Action Shooting competitions.
