From the picture it appears the stock folds. And what is the major difference besides price in this one and the one with the folding stock?

Hi Greg, this model does have the "Folding Stock". The core rifles are similar with only the difference of number in stock accounting for the price difference. Prices at Buds tend to follow stock numbers. As numbers go up, prices go down and vice versa.
