Chiappa Firearms 500190 Double Badger Folding Shotgun/Rifle Over/Under 22 Long Rifle 20 Gauge Blued
	
This shotgun/rimfire combination gun is a great choice for hunting,
survival or fun recreational shooting. The Double Badger has the look, feel
and function of an over and under shotgun with an attractive wood buttstock
and forend but with the versatility of a rimfire cartridge. Each barrel is
selectively fired by its own trigger and controlled by a top tang safety
that is easy to use quickly and reliably. It comes with a Williams Fiber
Optic ghost ring and front sight as well as a 3/8" dovetail rail for
mounting optics. Designed for portability, pushing the trigger guard down
allows the Double Badger to fold in half for a total overall length of
21.20" making storage and transport easy.

Purchased this item and it was shipped to the FFL of my choice in a timely manner. There are uneven weld marks on each side of rear sight, not sure if that is just the way it's made. The extractor on upper .22 side has Burr which I will have to sand down. There are also heat marks and discoloration from welding on trigger guard, again, not sure if all models are like this. I fired a few shots from each barrel with no problems.

A little bit of a disappointment. The firearm appears well made with beautiful wood, This over/under hybrid basically works, but I actually have the Chiappa 20 gauge conversion inserts that allows pistol cartridges to be fired from any break open type of shotgun, unfortunately the extractor on the 20 gauge part of the gun is weak and will malfunction.
