This is pretty much the same story as the other one, there are very few restrictions on bolt action rifles in NY, this rifle is good to go if you remove the 15rd magazines. But all guns with a detachable magazine(rifles, shotguns, handguns, Aows) in NY are limited to 10rds, whether semi-auto, bolt-action, pump, etc.... Joseph, this is a recent manufacture rifle so it would be the latest version. I am sure there will be improvements/upgrades coming down the pike on this due to the popularity of this rifle.
