Dusko, I would ask Sig this directly for accurate information at 603.610.3000, option 1 --- Monday-Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm EST

The tolerances of the frame are likely different. i would contact sig directly if you have not already. 603-610-3000

Donald, this will convert the SIG Sauer P226, P226R that do not have the "Magazine Disconnect". The design and function of the magazine disconnect would put the kit magazines in a permanent disconnect mode and not fire with the 22lr magazine inserted.

Short and sweet, this gun rocks. I bought this and then added the 9mm kit from SIG and she is a sweet shooter in both calibers. I also have a 40 caliber and a 357 SIG and tried them on here as well and they were flawless too. I swapped out the wood grips for Hogue G10 checkered as the wood grips are thick but YMMV.
I ended up with a 2 caliber gun for the price of just the 9mm SAO. Works for me. The 22 works great too, no issues.
