  No, it won't work. Piston ars will not allow the cmmg bolt to fully chamber. Sorry and hope this helps.

  Christiaan, The .224 Valkyrie started out in life as a .30 Remington/6.8 SPC case. It’s basically a necked down 6.8 SPC with a .22-caliber bullet, in this case, a long and skinny .224-diameter bullet that has a high ballistic coefficient. And a 223 - 5.56NATO rifle uses a .224 caliber bullet. .22 rimfires use .223 diameter. There should be no problem using this CMMG 22 lr conversion kit on any AR 15 platform with the 224 valkyrie chambering.

  Corey, Charging handle is not included and not needed. I have this conversion kit. Have used it on DPMs, Windham Weaponry, Ruger, Core 15, Bushmaster, Radical FA, and Del Ton AR 15s. No issues using the charging handle in each rifle. Functions just fine without any special charging handle.

  It will work just fine CMMG recommends 36-grain plated nose bullets "standard" 22lr Ammunition..
