The DPMS Panther 24 Special has a 416 stainless steel 24" fluted bull barrel, 6 grooves, right hand 1:9" twist, button rifled, gas operated rotating bolt, and a 8620 steel bolt carrier. The A3 flat top upper receiver features a dust cover and a shell deflector. The upper and lower receiver made of 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum. The lower receiver features a semi-auto trigger group, aluminum trigger guard, and aluminum magazine release button. The stock is adjustable black A2 Zytel, and the pistol grip has an adjustable palm shelf so your hand can relax while placing the shot. The handguard is a vented ribbed aluminum free float tube with a bipod/swivel stud for mounting that perfect stud mounted bipod.
